Home Learning
In Ruby Class, learning is shared via Tapestry. Families are able to share experiences and learning from home.
In years 1-6, class teachers set home learning each week to support and reinforce the children's learning in school.
All homework is shared on Class Dojo.
- Reading: we ask that children read at home daily and at least 3 times a week. We use the 'learning with parents' website to record and track this.
- Maths: Children in Years 1-6 have maths homework books. Teachers will generally set work from this book and sometimes supplement this with other resources.
- Times table knowledge: Times table fluency is extremely important especially in Key Stage 2. Purple mash has many games the children can access.
