We made it! Well done and thank you to everyone for the tremendous effort you have all put in to home schooling! We are so grateful to have such supportive parents and hard-working children at our school. Thank you also to the staff at school who have been working so hard to make sure that the keyworker bubble ran smoothly throughout.
Hopefully you have kept the work the children have been doing at home as I’d love for them to bring it in with them next week so that I can see it in person. I’m hoping to make a display with some of the things they have done as well. If you are able to have a sort through and make sure work is stuck in/organised in some way, that would be greatly appreciated as I think there will be a lot to look through! If they have made a book in a box, please also bring that in. Please also send in all of the books they have borrowed so that we have enough copies to begin our Read Write Inc sessions and get new books handed out in the first week back. They can bring things in over a few days if there’s too much to carry all in one go!
As you know, the 8th of March also marks the start of British Science Week and we have lots of exciting learning planned throughout the week. Please can I ask for each of the children to bring in an empty 1l plastic bottle on Friday 12th March to be used in one of our lessons.
Our PE days will be Tuesdays and Fridays so please send your child to school in their PE kits on those days (also bear in mind they will be outside at break and lunchtime so warm enough layers please).
I can’t wait to see all of the children back at school on Monday!
Have a great weekend,
