We are a small school found in the village of Spellbrook in Hertfordshire that enjoys strong links with Great St. Mary's Church, Sawbridgeworth.
The school first opened in 1891 with a single classroom which currently houses our oldest children. Since then it has undergone extension including three further classrooms and a hall. Our brand new reception area was officially opened in November 2011 and has provided a much appreciated, up to date and functional entrance to the school as well as extra working areas for the children.
There are currently just over 100 children on role and we pride ourselves on providing a rich learning experience for all children within a caring, nurturing environment and feel that our small size enables us to do just this.
On Sunday 13th May the school choir performed at the Royal Albert Hall. An excellent day was had by all. Well done to the children and a big thank you to Miss Pottrill and Mrs Fergusson for all of their hard work.
